• Discuss the pros and cons of a once-daily PI-based HAART regimen


• Identify the factors critical to consider when selecting a once-daily PI-based HAART regimen


• Describe comorbid conditions that could adversely affect the safety profile of the HAART regimen


• Discuss combinations of antiretroviral agents that could potentially result in adverse drug events or virologic failure


• Review the concomitant medications used to treat comorbid medical conditions that could produce significant drug-drug interactions with the HAART regimen
