Optimizing Biologic Therapy in Children with Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis: A Care Team Forum®
Program Overview
Truly a ”Care Team Forum®,” this roundtable discussion brings together a leading team of experts from a multidisciplinary atopic dermatitis (AD) clinic to talk about best practices in the treatment of pediatric AD. The panel is joined by a mother of a preteen daughter with severe AD who details her journey with multiple atopic disorders since infancy. The team discusses updates in the understanding of the pathophysiology of AD, the atopic march, updates in the treatment of pediatric AD, and exciting treatment options on the horizon. They also share how they coordinate care in between members of their interprofessional and multidisciplinary team.
Dermatology, allergy/immunology, pediatricians, and primary care clinicians
