Program Overview

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) contributes to increased morbidity and mortality after transplantation. Unwanted side effects of antiviral and immunosuppression further complicate treatment and recovery. In this activity, learners will explore evidence-based prevention and treatment strategies that optimize the safety and efficacy of antivirals to improve patient outcomes.

Method of Participation and Request for Credit

Participation in this self-study activity should be completed in approximately 1.0 hour(s). To successfully complete this activity and receive CE credit, learners must follow these steps:

  • Successfully complete activity post-test
  • Complete the activity evaluation

 
You must receive a test score of at least 75% and respond to all evaluation questions to receive a certificate.

For Pharmacists: Upon successfully completing the post-test with a score of 75% or better and the online evaluation, your credit will be submitted to CPE Monitor. Please check your NABP account within thirty (30) days to make sure the credit has posted.
