An Interprofessional Approach to Managing Treatment-Related Complications of Acute GvHD
Program Overview
Acute graft–versus–host disease (aGvHD) is a common complication of allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (allo-HSCT). In this activity, an interprofessional expert panel will discuss2physician-submitted cases focused on complications associated withaGvHD therapy, such as thrombocytopenia and infectious complications, and how to address them from a medical, pharmacy, and PA perspective.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Integrate the unique roles and responsibilities of interprofessional care team members when managing hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients with acute graft–versus–host disease (aGvHD)
